Welcome Brothers and Sisters In Christ

There are documents written by the founders of this country making statements that may shock some people. Today we hear our founding fathers were atheist, deists, and agnostics. However, in 1962 the Supreme Court made its first official statement telling God he was not welcome in our official policies. That year, in the court case Engle v Vital the Court banned prayer from public schools. A year later, in Abington v Schemp the Court banned bible reading in the schools. Since 1962, in case after case, our government has taken open stances against God and His priciples. Remember Alabama Judge Roy Moore? He posts the 10 Commandments on the wall in his court room. In 1980, in Stone v Graham the Supreme Court said posting the 10 commandments on or in state property was unconstitutional. Unconstitutional implies our founding fathers would have objected to it. But this is not the case; most of our founders were overtly Christian, and intended their descendants to be so. Today, humanism, witchcraft, and atheism are viable religions, protected by the first amendment. Did you know the biggest problems in public school during the baby boom generation was chewing gum and speaking out of turn? What are the biggest problems in public school today? Our government has taken the path that leads away from Christianity, the religion of our founders. Only recently has public policy demonstrated an atheistic paradigm.

Now you are aware of the battle we fight. You may not know this is not just a political battle, it is also a spiritual battle. It seems The Enemy has gained much ground in recent years, and in recent decades, and recent..., well you get the idea. We do know that one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, but that is NOT an excuse for us to sit around and wait for that day. Here is a proposal.

Phase One

The Enemy uses mental warefare, and he is very good at it. If you're familiar with the old saying "fight fire with fire" then you might have already guessed where I'm going with this. Why can't we use the tools of mental warefare in the battle? We have comprised a list of quotes from our Founding Fathers, the quotes proving they were mostly Christian men, not deists, agnostics and atheists as we are told today. Below you can see the list; you can also print it out by clicking on the printer icon at the top of the screen. Here is what we can do. Print out a copy of this two page list. Photo copy it, a bunch. Next fall, on Monday October 1st, 2001 the body of Christ will post a "'95 Theses" all around the country, professionals and students alike. We must get as many people to participate as possible; this means you. Post these two pages everywhere you can, in every building in your everday life. Pick one or two people in each building to post these pages.

In March 2001 a student at Harvard printed in that school's news paper an article in the attempt to raise awareness about a comical social phenomenon, and his freedom of speech was cut short by the powers that be. It seems so many things make headlines these days, why not something serious that will get the attention the nation's capital inspite of the mainstream press? Are you tired of hearing about school shooting after school shooting? Are you alarmed that this is now common place? The element of surprise will benefit our efforts significantly. Phase Two

The response: After this posting there will be some media attention. There will also be a lot of people with questions; some angry, some confused, and some earnestly interested is learning more about the faith of the founders, about our faith. Be prepared for this.

This event can be used as a ministry in and of itself, but that is not the intention. The intention of this event is to get people's attention, to prepare them for the truth. They will not be able to see the truth while they are still slaves to the lies of the enemy. They need to see and hear the truth. The Holy Spirit will do the rest.

Phase Three

In the following months there will be a few more postings to make. Those lists are currently still under formation. Any input about these following lists are welcomed.

Plans may change. Please keep checking this site for updates on the event. And please, spread the word! This will only work if an overwhelming number of postings suddenly appear on the appointed day, so we need as many people as possible working on this. Your support and input are welcomed, and please pray. Pray hard.

Thomas Jefferson - 3rd President of the United States

"God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are a gift from God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, and that His justice cannot sleep forever." (excerpts are inscribed on the walls of the Jefferson Memorial in the nations capital)

Patrick Henry - American Revolutionary Leader

"It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ."

Daniel Webster - statesman, congressman

"If the power of the Gospel is not felt throughout the length and breadth of the land, anarchy and misrule, degradation and misery, corruption and darkness will reign without mitigation or end."

John Jay - 1st Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court

"I recommend a general and public return of praise and thanksgiving to Him from whose goodness these blessings descend. The most effectual means of securing the continuance of our civil and religious liberties, is always to remember with reverence and gratitude the source from which they flow." "Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers."

Church of the Holy Trinity v. United States

Even the constitution of the United States, which is supposed to have little touch upon the private life of the individual, contains in the first amendment a declaration common to the constitutions of all the states, as follows: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," etc., - and also provides in article 1, § 7, (a provision common to many constitutions,) that the executive shall have 10 days (Sundays excepted) within which to determine whether he will approve or veto a bill. There is no dissonance in these declarations. There is a universal language pervading them all, having one meaning. They affirm and reaffirm that this is a religious nation. These are not individual sayings, declarations of private persons. They are organic utterances. They speak the voice of the entire people. While because of a general recognition of this truth the question has seldom been presented to the courts, yet we find that in Updegraph v. Comm., 11 Serg. & R. 394, 400, it was decided that, "Christianity, general Christianity, is, and always has been, a part of the common law of Pennsylvania; * * * not Christianity with an established church and tithes and spiritual courts, but Christianity with liberty of conscience to all men." And in People v. Ruggles, 8 Johns. 290, 294, 295, Chancellor KENT, the great commentator on American law, speaking as chief justice of the supreme court of New York, said: "The people of this state, in common with the people of this country, profess the general doctrines of Christianity as the rule of their faith and practice; and to scandalize the author of those doctrines is not only, in a religious point of view, extremely impious, but, even in respect to the obligations due to society, is a gross violation of decency and good order.

George Washington - American Revolutionary Leader, First President

"Of all the dispositions and habits, which lead to political prosperity, Religion and Morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of Patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of Men and Citizens. The mere Politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them. A volume could not trace all their connexions with private and public felicity. Let it simply be asked, Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths, which are the instruments of investigation in Courts of Justice? And let us with caution indulge the supposition, that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect, that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle."
