Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. Please will you forgive me for emailing you without your prior permission? I belong to a people group that is almost one hundred per cent unreached by missionaries. We are the Parsee people. At present, my people are having their pagan holy days, calling on demons, exalting fire, and dedicating their children to pagan gods. I am only one of less than 30 Parsees that are saved worldwide. On behalf of my 3.5 million lost people, I beg you to ask your church to fast and pray for my Parsee people's souls, during the months of March through May.

Parsees are presently celebrating their holy days. Parsees in different parts of the world congregate early every morning to call on the spirits of deceased relatives and ancestral spirits to worship them until sunset. During these "holy days", Parsee men and women will be actively and fervently worshipping their god, the "fire god", as well as deceased relatives and angels in the Parsee Fire Temples. Parsees of all ages from little children to the elderly attend these congregational worship services daily at sunrise.

Since the Parsees consider these days to be very holy and auspicious, they use this period to dedicate their children into binding covenants with their fire god. The Parsees, who number over 3.5 million worldwide and are almost exclusively Zoroastrian in religion, have less than 30 that are born again - - less than only 30. Most will go their entire lives without once hearing the gospel of Jesus, and will die into a Christless eternity.

These days, during which the Parsee people will be seeking their gods for forgiveness from past sins and cleansing, are a strategic time for us to pray and fast that Jesus reveal Himself and His plan of salvation to the Parsee people. Please ask your church to fast at least one day a week in the months of March through May, and pray through our 40-Day Prayer Calendar.

Parsees are the same people group that Persian kings Cyrus, Darius, and Xerxes of the Old Testament belonged to. Today the Parsees are found predominantly in India, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, the USA, Canada, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Bangladesh. More than 10,000 Zoroastrian Parsees live in China. Parsees are for the most part businessmen, educators, lawyers, and doctors. They enjoy doing acts of kindness. For example, Parsee people typically give generously to charities and Parsee doctors rarely charge the poor. Parsee schools are among the best, with most of them using English as the language of instruction. Parsees are 100 per cent literate, and most Parsees of India and Pakistan speak English fluently.

While the Parsees are in leadership in almost every walk of life in the Indian subcontinent, they have been almost totally unreached by missionaries. It saddens me to say that ours is the only Christian ministry in the entire world which is focused on the Parsees, with one lifetime missionary. Praise God we have this one, but we need many more. Please would you urgently ask your churches and your network of praying friends to please pray God send us mature Believers for life-time of service to the Parsee people. The Parsees urgently need our fasting and prayer on their behalf, and especially at this time when so many children are being brought into bondage to the powers of darkness.

Please beg God to raise up many who will fast the entire 40 days for my Parsee people during their current pagan holy days. If God raises up some to fast the full 40 days, then He will also empower them to do so. As you remember the great sacrifice of our Lord this "Easter" season, please would you consider fasting-and mobilize fasting-for the unreached and forgotten Parsee people? Praise God for the privilege we have, through Christ, to offer up sacrifices to God in works of love. Please ask God to bless the Parsee outreach team going to the Parsees this summer with His gifts of healing and prophecy, and expansion in size and outreach. Pray He multiply the fruit of our labors. Please pray God give us the anointing to raise the dead and cast out demons, as we confront the powers of darkness in ministering to the demon-possessed.

Please pray for anointing, strength, productivity, and empowerment for our ministry leader, Rev. Kaezad Dadachanjee. Pray that Kaezad would lead this Ministry according to God's Master plan for the Parsee people. Ask for God's Presence and grace to abide with him. Pray that God bless Kaezad with insight into His Word, and with knowledge in Theology and Interpretation with such depth and thoroughness that Kaezad would be able to teach it to others. Ask God to open doors for Kaezad before kings so that the Gospel can go forth where it has never gone before. Please pray for him for more personal intercessors.

The attached Prayer Calendar has been compiled with much prayer and fasting. It strategically targets Parsee strongholds, main Parsee temples, Parsee chief priests, Parsee pagan seminaries and children's training centers. Please pray God aggressively mobilize fasting and prayer from this Prayer Calendar. Pray that this Calendar be used for prayer in churches and Seminaries everywhere.

Please consider publishing seven fresh prayer requests every week in your Sunday church bulletins, and in your Youth Group circulars, from our Prayer Calendar. Can you please make copies of the calendar available to your Youth Groups and Children's Groups for the young people to pray from it? Please also forward this e-mail (and more importantly, the attached Prayer Calendar) to your praying friends and urge them to fast and pray from it.
